Today is yet another winter storm invading Chi Town. When I look out my window, all I can see is white with shades of gray. The pretty all white color of the snow served as my inspiration for today’s look. This snowstorm has now served its purpose! :-)

Spring is just around the corner. It may be a long corner waaaaaay down the block if you live in the Midwest (since it’s cold here for so long), but a corner it is. It’s not too early to start thinking about your spring selections.

Today’s look is for my cost conscious fashionistas. If you’re on a budget or just need a few inexpensive selections to add to your wardrobe, you can still do it in style. Black and white is always an elegant look when paired together. Add a pop of yellow to it for just the right amount of sunshine to brighten your day!

“Olive” Fridays

Happy Friday Glam World!

It’s Friday, so you know what that means…that means it’s NOT Monday!!!! LOL It’s the perfect day to grab your skinnies, a t-shirt and all the Frappuccinos your diet will allow. Yummy! ;-)

If you want to switch up the color from the typical color of blue for jeans, try a pair with a print design. For today’s look, I selected olive and black jeans in a snakeskin print. I kept the top simple and comfortable with a white and black tee and added a fitted leather jacket with the same olive hue in the jeans. I complemented the olive color with gold and black accessories and finished the look with a matching handbag and black booties.

So here’s the perfect outfit that says, “IT’S FRIDAY!!!”
