It’s Cold. It’s Hot. Worried? I’m Not!

The weather has been annoying which has my room looking like a tornado hit it every morning. One day it’s cold. The next day it’s hot. Then there all those days where it’s hot and cold in the same day. It’s 82 degrees in the morning and 42 degrees at night, leaving me perplexed on what to put on for the day. My room has a mixture of seasons’ clothes thrown everywhere. There are winter scarves next to short sleeved shirts, thick sweaters next to tank style mini dresses and riding boots next to bejeweled sandals. My wardrobe doesn’t know what season it is. Every morning I’m asking myself questions, “Should I dress for the cold weather or should I dress for the 5 hours of hot weather?” “Do I wear spring clothes although it’s 42 degrees and I’m freezing, or should I wear winter clothes since it’s so cold, yet it’s spring with tulips on the ground?” Hmmm….since I don’t know what to do, I think I’ll do a mixture of both.
I chose a lavender blouse to embrace that it’s actually spring and a snakeskin leather pencil skirt to realize that it’s cold and Chicago has no spring! I put my hair in a side bun which gives it kind of a retro look. To play off the retro look, I added a pearl ring, pearl earrings and pearl bracelets. I added in a purple beaded bracelet to complement my lavender blouse. I finished the look with black platform heels and went outside and said to myself, “I’m freezing!”
